CIVS provides great experiential learning opportunities for students to solve real world problems. Since Spring 2009, more than 1,000+ Purdue University Northwest students have worked on CIVS projects, and more than 4,636+ students have participated in 3-D immersive virtual learning at CIVS labs. A large number of students have received undergraduate student research grants from the university for CIVS-related projects and some of them have received paper/poster competition awards in the university, regional, and international conferences.
